TEACHER’S DAY

“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, calibre and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher that will be the biggest honour for me.” – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
Our Cultural Committee on 5 th September 2019 celebrated Teacher’s Day in a very unique way. With great enthusiasm and reverence on this day students of all session participated.Girls wore kurtis and sarees and boys wore formal shirts and trousers, as they tried to emulate their teachers’ dress code for one day. It didn’t simply ended with an emulation of the dress code. The students prepared the topics of their choices and taught the
topics in the classroom as the teachers sat among the students, reversing the roles for one day. It served as a
reminder to the students as to the roles teacher play in their lives, and that teaching isn’t an easy job it requires
share of dedication and hard-work. Teachers are the guiding lights of our lives, and this day celebrated that fact with much love and reverence.
