Fight against plastic pollution a massive rally on the pressing issue of plastic ban

Prakash College, renowned for its commitment to environmental causes, took a significant step forward in the fight against plastic pollution by organising a massive rally on the pressing issue of plastic ban. On the vibrant morning of July 17, the college campus buzzed with enthusiasm as 229 students from FYJC and SYJC, along with 20 National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and 15 staff members, came together to raise awareness and advocate for a greener future.

NSS Unit of Prakash Degree College of Commerce and Science “organized a painting, competition, with and theme “ Yoga Day “ on Monday 21st June 2023 for the students of TY day degree college. Students expressed the true essence of yoga by making beautiful posters

The NSS (National Service Scheme) unit of college has been very active in social service and offers opportunity to the students for personality development and self growth. Under the guidance of dedicated teachers our enthusiastic student volunteers work under the national service scheme bringing its motto alive of “Not me but you.”Our NSS programme has expanded both quantitatively and qualitatively over the years. The National Service Scheme was started to establish a meaningful linkage between the college campus and the community and we are happy to bridge this establishment successfully.
