Newspapers collection, paper bags distribution by NSS Units
Prakash Degree College NSS Unit volunteers collected newspapers for an entire year from their homes, total newspapers weighing 25 kgs. Was accumulated and on 3rd February 2018 from morning 7 a.m to 3 p.m students prepared 10,000 paper bags for distribution to venders.
On 6th February 2018 college organised paperbags distribution from 3:30 p.m to 6:00 p.m at our adopted area of Kandivali East. The teams of volunteers distributed paper bags to refreshment shopkeepers, vegetable vendors and fruit sellers even informed them peoples to avoid or reduce use of plastic carry bags and use own cloth bags or paper bags for material buy from sellers.
